Rugby league greats Matt Giteau and David Pocock are being linked to a move to the English Super League despite their success at the top of the game.
The Australian duo has won 14 NRL titles and captained Australia at four Rugby World Cups since 2005, but Giteau and Pocock are yet to secure a regular Super League slot for 2015.
Former Australia captain John Sutton is also said to have been linked with a move to English Super League having captained Newcastle Knights this season, who are the reigning Super League leaders.

And the Telegraph understands Sutton could not find a club willing to take him up on a new term when he became England captain.
Newcastle Knights announced last week their intention to sell the centre who played seven times for the national side.
While Giteau is likely to remain in English Super League, Pocock will need to be recruited this month if he is to be offered a move.
The Newcastle Knights are also understood to be closing in to the signing of Newcastle Falcons’ New Zealand international prop Nick Frisby.
Frisby, who has played 16 Super League matches this season, is understood to be available for around £3.2m – a bargain on their current wage bill.
St Helens’ Tom Wood, who has made a couple of appearances for England, is another free agent on the market as the New Zealand international looks to return to Australia.
The 22-year-old played 21 Super League games in 2014.
