If not, what is the difference between a coat of Krylon oil and a coat of Krylon grout?

I don’t use Krylon oil at all in the grout. I have two types of grout that I usually have Krylon spray painted on. One is a paint that is water based and a very water-logged grout that I always spray on when I am working on it to keep my surface from fading and peeling off. The other is a water-based grout that has been sprayed on to clean up spots where you have left a trace on the surface.
I am a grad student and also an avid user of Krylon products – I think of them almost as an extension of my body, which allows me to apply many different types of products to my body without having to worry about clogging or losing products on my hands.
You never hear about people using water based grout in the grout. So if Krylon grout is not grout, then what type of grout does it actually come in? I have a theory that it is actually a lot like paint and it may come in various grades of Krylon.

First a little info for those that are just learning more about Krylon’s grout, we’ll begin with the basics: water-based paint is a high quality product. It is also very easy to clean up after. After washing the grout brush, rub some rubbing alcohol around all surfaces. Then wipe that rub alcohol away with some dish soap. And that’s all there is to it. The paint is not harmful. The rub alcohol acts as some kind of lubricant to help with the cleaning process and it’s not toxic, so it’s ok to use it on your grout even if you are not using Krylon grout.
In Krylon grout, the “oil” is not the thick slurry of clay or hardening granules that one would find in a paint. The “oil” is more like a thick, silky film that covers and holds moisture. So the best way to describe it is a “seamless coat” on your grout in terms of quality, which is why so many people use it. However, some gr
