Yes, but only at the rate of two coats per piece, not five. For the last few months, I’ve been doing one coat on each surface I work on. When I do it in a very light coat, my husband says he’s almost ready to throw out the furniture. He does that for me. I don’t agree with the “clean-up” advice, but he takes my word on the subject. If I were using three-ply or four-ply sandpaper, I would never do the second wash, because I don’t want to scratch the surfaces that are on a daily basis. If all I wanted was a single finish, I would just use a different product. My favorite product is Dremel, which has a 3-1/5-inch blade for my two-paint application, and can sand a 3-2/5-inch piece in 10 minutes. It’s more powerful than most other sanders. You can also find the Dremel model for car parts. As a bonus tip, try the Dremel D3. We bought it for our kitchen cabinets and the results speak for themselves.
Can I reuse drywall? In the beginning when my house was remodeled back in 1999, we did not have drywall. In early 2002, we came out of the closet and discovered our kitchen had drywall. I decided to do something different. It took me one to two tries at painting on drywall on the kitchen side. After several mistakes, I thought I saw some of the things I would need to do correctly to get the job done. One thing which surprised me was painting over what had previously been drywall. I then looked at photos and realized what I had done wrong. I have been using the same paint until now. I now spray it dry using a drywall brush and go to town. So, when the drywall is all gone, you see I never had drywall paint in the first place. The wall behind the shower on the bathroom still has drywall paint on it too. The second layer of drywall is now a white mask on the walls. The paint was also dry on the wall I used for our garage and now, the door to the garage has drywall paint on it. My door is only 6-1/2 inches wide and 14 inches long. I have used the same drywall paint on the walls across the whole house, and every wall in my driveway, to ensure it will be covered. Every day
