Is saffron yellow? – Growing Saffron Crocus In Containers

Yes, saffron yellow is also yellow in the color spectrum. In fact, you can use either of these colors in your own color scheme.

The two primary colors that I use are saffron yellow and red. I use both colors when I create my color scheme from scratch or when working on a commission. This makes the scheme more interesting in terms of what colors I can utilize to achieve each effect.

Red (and yellow in particular) are a must for this because they both offer a distinct “moody” color contrast with the surrounding background. When it comes to color work and designing your own color schemes, red is usually the choice. It’s not that other colors don’t work as well, but red is the best for most uses.
