Season 12 is the start of season 13. There’s been a lot of discussion as to where he will end up in the plot, and what his arc will be.
Does he die?
No. This is the first time we’ve seen either of them. When they were born they were in a box, and that was probably the most dangerous thing they had ever seen. But all indications point toward them staying around for a while.
Who killed them?
No one knows. He says he’s never seen another human being before, so it’s like he has a new perspective. At the end there’s a scene where he goes outside and goes “I don’t even know if they’re dead.” So he doesn’t know.
Is there any possible way for Saffron to have them back?
Saffron might have a bit of power over them because she’s the leader. They don’t even get off the island for quite awhile. They come back, and Saffron takes them back to her territory. But she has some difficulty seeing what those other people are.
What was it like to be on this show for the first time? Is it still as exciting?
I can’t even put into words how exciting it seems because there’s so much that has happened. There’s been so many different events. There’s been a lot of stuff that has been shown that’s been really fun and exciting to look at. I think it’s the first time any character is going to die that I’m actually super excited about.
Can you share anything about the new season?
There will be a lot of action in the first few episodes. [We’ll see Claire, Malcolm, Frank and Owen] face some real adversity.
Can you give us any hints about upcoming characters?
Ahead of time, we’ve told you about some of them as they’re coming into the story. There’s a whole cast of people. They’ll be in different moments throughout the season, and we’ll just see them play out.
