Saffron can be found as a wild, medicinal herb in North America and Europe, and in Indian and South American countries especially (although nowadays, it is used only for the food). It is also in certain countries with herbal traditions, such as Brazil, Peru, Chile, Brazil, Ghana, and Ethiopia.
How to Grow Saffron

I encourage soil that is less saturated than what you would typically grow soil on plants. The soil in my pots was around 20 percent clay; for best growth, the soils need to be more like the soil on a garden bed.
Saffron takes some time to become established. You may need to do several seedings. You can use seed from a variety of varieties, such as the varieties that are common to Canada and the US. You can buy seeds at seed banks. I personally choose sesame seeds, because they are inexpensive and have a taste that I like. If you are buying seed from a garden centre, ask the manager where the seeds come from.
Saffron is easy to grow from seed. There are three things to keep in mind when growing them: grow the seed carefully, make sure the seed is planted out and that it is at a slightly cooler temperature (70 degrees F or 20 degrees C) when the seedlings are planted, and then allow the water to drain off after the germination is complete.
