I’m a bit of a tea addict, don’t get me wrong. It’s a very soothing and relaxing sensation. So for me, I like, I say, daily saffron tea. It’s refreshing. It’s very relaxing, and, if I don’t eat anything for eight hours, that also helps you have a really good night’s sleep and stay up.
The idea behind daily saffron tea is, you can drink one tea with water, and then you can have another one, and another one, and an hour later you have a new tea for the night. There’s a lot of benefits associated with it. Also, I’m on a Paleo diet. I eat no processed animal products in it. So saffron is very nutritious. But more importantly, saffron is used in ayurvedic medicine for its use in fertility in the form of chaste lotus buds, which are very beautiful and aromatic. They help with fertility and they help with acne, and there’s a lot of things. And to me, there’s a lot of benefits attached to it.
The thing is when you’re on a Paleo diet, I actually think, you’re not doing your body any credit because you’re not giving it all the nutrients that it needs to function properly. You are actually restricting what it does so it will function better.
I know that there’s another kind of herbal medicine that’s very rich in saffron, and I feel like in all of these herbal medicine, there’s actually really good, good plant-based stuff. I just don’t use it, because my body can’t take enough of it. I’m a huge saffron drinker, but, yeah, it’s always something that I look into, and if I was actually on a Paleo diet, I would definitely do a daily saffron because you have so many nutrients in saffron that, really, you have to work in it.

If I was really serious about eating correctly, there’s such a vast amount of options and not only Ayurvedic medicine but holistic medicine, so I actually kind of went to my local A&E. I found several A&Es that had excellent reviews. Some of them had really good experience, and some of them had one bad experience.
