I’m really in a good place, it’s just down the line. I’m pretty good. I mean I was the top contender a long time ago, too. I’ve learned a lot from my brother, Matt, in some of the areas that I struggle with the most and I think he’s done a really good job of putting his mind on it and getting better on the pole.
Who is your hero?
I have to go with Ronda Rousey because she’s the strongest female athlete on the planet in terms of what she can do, but also everything she has ever accomplished in her life. I try to follow her example of taking everything I can, and then pushing through the struggles that have been placed in front of me because you just make a lot of progress when you give it your all sometimes.
What can fans expect from CM Punk in WWE?
I’m trying to get out of there, the only thing I’m keeping my promise is wrestling! I’m trying to get out of there. I’m doing a couple other things with my family to put them in order, I’m helping out with other family members at this point, and that will put me in a good spot coming up.
In the last few years, fans of CM Punk have found a unique look that goes beyond the character he brings to WWE. What advice do you have for them?
The only advice I have is to keep wrestling and keeping progressing and keep trying to improve and continue to get better and better and keep growing into whatever you want to be. I wish you the best, I hope I’ll have the opportunity to be an awesome champion someday, too.
