I was asked this a little while ago. It’s a great question to have. It’s a pretty hard question to answer, but I’ve really tried to try to answer my own questions.
What is pole dancing?
At the core, pole dancing takes place primarily in the nude and is an athletic movement used by dancers to express pleasure. However, there are people who are trained in other ways.
Why did you decide to enter pole dancing?
I got into pole dancing through my parents. Our mother is a doctor—she trained in orthopedics—and it came from there. I started with my grandma, and then moved onto my older brother.
How do you know if you’re talented enough to be part of the pole dancing world?
You just have to be in the right place at the right time, when you’re a good enough dancer.
What are some of the challenges you face in your training?

If so, how do you overcome that? Can you control the things outside of yourself that could put you in uncomfortable situations?
I can, but I try to get away from a lot of those things. What can I do that’ll really help?
What are the key elements you look for in a pole dancer or an instructor?
Well… that’s hard to answer that. I personally believe in the importance of having people who’ll put the time and effort into training, and there’s no better place than the family of a dancer.
How long do you practice to prepare for each event?
For pole dance, at the start of the preparation I’m generally looking for just a single step to perform. In a few weeks before each performance, I’ll start looking for the rest of the steps. I don’t want the steps to be too technical—too complex. I want them to be as open as possible, giving me the freedom to step out completely. That’s what I look to when I’m preparing.
When you see a dancer’s first time, do you watch the entire show or simply focus on a specific section?
The first time I saw a dancer’s first show I was really
