I’ve been to galleries all over the world and I’ve learned so much about the process of producing paintings. I’ve always wanted to go behind the scenes. Why not? I’ve never had a lot of art experience and was surprised there was no professional studio that would take me on. I got to learn from some amazing artists that had experience and were already producing in the industry.
Can you work at night?
Yeah it has to be dark in order to work. You need to be really careful. When it gets really dark and we start taking pictures the light gets to be dimmer and you have no light at your back. There’s no light.
Any advice for someone wanting to get into photography?
If you’re just starting out, you can learn really quick. You don’t have to go back and be a master painter. You have to learn how to take pictures. I just took my first photograph, and I’ve learned so much from it and now I know when to take pictures.

It’s time for an update on the status of the new website and forums, and here’s what we have so far:
A bit of background: The current website and forum is a work in progress (for that matter, no release yet). The website was built using the AngularJS framework, and the site includes the latest version of the META-INF database, all the basic PHP files, and a database connection (to get around the SQL database problem). The forums were updated several weeks ago and have now taken control of the overall site, with a new layout and a few other features.
