What was they thinking?

When was the last time they had a bad cold? Nope. They even had that kind of “cold” in the 1920s!

What do the doctors say about these “colds”? The only doctor who ever really said anything about them was a man named Thomas Luechinger, who said that they could not cause “fever and chill”. This is a little confusing because we’re talking about these colds today. These are the same colds that everyone else is getting to.

How do we know that these colds really existed?

Well, I did the research myself. I talked to a doctor and also went on one of those “chill walks”. These are actually walks, not sledding. I saw one doctor who told me that colds could “really” happen even when they were totally gone. I then asked myself, “Why didn’t he say that before?” We are talking about the most widespread disease in the world!

Where the heck is the cold disease of today?

We know today that the flu and pneumonia are extremely cold conditions now. When I went in for a flu shot, I thought I was getting a sore throat. They even tested some people for this flu today. The only thing I did not notice during the testing was that there would be white blood cells (leukocytes) in them that could actually cause the cold. I have a very positive reaction to this testing now.

My husband has been getting lots and lots of flu shots since the new flu vaccine was released. The doctor I go to has been telling him that the flu is very cold. He says he just got the flu shot. Do you know what that means? It means that the flu was not the result of something else. He was in fact getting a cold in this case! When he comes out of the office, everybody else is getting tons of colds. He is actually being attacked by the cold today. He does notice some relief today. I wish I had some of the answers to all of these questions, but I have to go to work tomorrow.
