The best, most fun way to create a comic is to turn it into a story.
How do you get into the story?
The first step would be to figure out what your story needs to accomplish. At that point, you could also decide what kind of comic you want to do. I’ve always been a fan of sci-fi. I love how often they use sci-fi to introduce new elements to the story and help build the overall world of the story, and that’s where the genre comes from, too.
But you could also use different characters. Maybe someone who’s more familiar to you could be a great starting point.
What’s the best way to pitch your story to someone?
You need to think about why the comics you’re drawing are compelling. What’s fun and motivating about your comic? How does it make you feel?
Where do you find inspiration? Do you use websites or blogs as a source?

The World Meteorological Organization (WMO) is set to meet Tuesday to discuss possible action to avert a “disastrous” flood from melting snow in Greenland and Iceland.
The WMO is also preparing to make a statement on the issue after a day of intense debate about the issue, an WMO spokesman told CNN.
WMO member states will discuss the “disastrous” effects of the loss of ice as the polar ice caps melt, the spokesman said, adding: “There’s no way to avoid it. We think [it] is a potential disaster not only in its impact on climate but also on the security of our coasts.”
The WMO also announced another disaster — a “disastrous” impact for European climate change policies – as it warned major action could be required to make the 2030 carbon-reduction targets they put out for discussion in April. The statement said action needed to be taken soon to protect the 2.5 billion people who will live in the area impacted by global warming in 2030.
