You can make a Word document into a picture by dragging the picture from your desktop to the screen of your selected device, then save it on the device and then drag it back to the desktop. Then, you will see it as just a blank piece of paper on your desktop, with the image that you selected.
You can also convert an Image to a Picture by right-clicking the image and then clicking in the Convert… menu, which will create an image in Adobe’s InDesign format.
What about a Document?
This section gives you instructions for creating Word documents. Note, it’s not the best way to document anything. It does not let you share your documents, but there is also a built-in sharing feature that allows you to share pictures from your computer to your mobile device. That’s fine if you are working in a small office and want pictures or PDFs on you mobile device.
It took almost a full year, but I believe Apple finally has the solution to the “bounce back” problem that iOS 7 introduced in early 2013.
Apple has announced it is introducing a new feature that allows you to return to an exact state that you were in and even restore from backups.
The feature, which will arrive as a new app, is called “Recovery for All,” and could be available as a free upgrade in the App Store at some point in the future.
Users can “Back Up & Restore” their iOS devices to any compatible iTunes backup, and then install the app to return them to that state immediately, without having to restore any of the other stuff on the device.
“It takes advantage of a previously unused feature in the iOS architecture, which allows iOS 4.x apps to save backups of their state to iCloud, and the app can then be used to re-enter the state the app had when they were first installed,” according to Apple.
The company describes the new feature as “recovered” devices, and says it will “back up and restore an iOS device to any iOS 4.x iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.”
With the new feature, users will have the option of returning to the original state or to a different device. It will be interesting to see if people are willing to try this out.
